                                            Finance Director

                                  Salary $90,000 - $105,000

                     The City of Wapato is currently seeking to fulfill the position of

                     Finance Director. This is a full time position with benefits.

Responsibilities:

      Over see City finance, analyzing fiscal growth and risk.

      Constant awareness of City Budget position.

      Coordinates with Mayor and Department heads for all financial decisions         .                                            

      Prepare quarterly budget status reports.

      Ensure adherence State Auditor and Funding requirements.

      Address City Council on budget status and future financial planning.

      Manage staff and trainings.

 Requirements:

     Proven experience with municipal finance.

     Knowledge in state and municipal accounting principles.

     Experience in federal, state and local funding availabilities'

     Good organization and leadership abilities.

     5years municipal finance and or city administration preferred.                 

     BS/BA in accounting and or CPA relevant qualifications preferred.
