New Dog in Town

When: Within 30 days of moving to Wapato

Bring:  Certification of Spay/Neuter and Vaccinations

Dog License Renewals

When: January of each year
Where: City Hall, 205 E 3rd St, Wapato WA 98951-509.877.2334

Bring: Updated Certification of Vaccinations

 

Rules for our Animal and Human Friends

  • No more than 3 dogs over 3 months of age
  • >Keep your animal on your property.
  • If off your property, keep your dog friend on a leash.
  • Remember not everyone enjoys the sounds a dog makes. Be considerate to your neighbor if you have a noisy dog. Noisy animals should be quiet between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.

 

Dangerous Dogs

  • The City of Wapato does have a prohibited dog ordinance. If you have a concern, please call the Police Department at 509.877.2334.

Cats

  • Cat licenses are not required.

City Council Meetings

The public is invited and encouraged to all open public meetings of the City Council Regular and Work Session meetings. Both meetings are held at City Hall Council Chambers, 205 E Third Street, Wapato, WA. City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm.

Council Work Sessions are informal and informational. They are just before City Council meetings starting as early as 6:00 pm.
