The City of Wapato is now accepting applications for a full time WasteWater Treatment Plant Utility/Maintenance Worker The starting pay is $22.03 per hour. There will be some required weekend work. Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED, able to read and write English language, and to perform basic mathematics calculations. Candidates with building maintenance and utility operations experience, and auto mechanic/HVAC/electrician skills are desired. Bilingual is a plus but not required. This position will have assignments in Water/Sewer divisions.  Must be able to pass a background and driver’s abstract check.
